The venue has an inhouse bar and an outdoor bar, catering to all your drinks needs. There’s also B&B for guests staying in the house but catering for your wedding is something you need to hire in.

Sit down meals, all-day grazing or street food vans are all possible onsite. You can be as traditional or unique as you want. The venue has a recommended caterer list of catering companies who’ve worked there before and done a good job so best to consult them with your food ideas and see who they’d recommend.

Spaces available for weddings at Netherbyres

A wedding ceremony takes place in a bright, elegant room with large windows and high ceilings. The bride and groom stand under a floral arch, holding hands, with the bride raising a bouquet in celebration. Guests stand and applaud around them. The upper part of the room features a curved balcony, ornate ceiling details, and string lights hanging across.

Grand hall

Double height, with the first floor mezzanine style balcony (rooms upstairs for getting ready). If you are making an entrance down the aisle, this is usually done from the staircase at the back of the room. Ceremonies tend to me at the front by the big windows.

Bar

Fully stocked bar for cocktails, wine and beers.

This colourful room is also often used for smaller weddings drinks and for time between sit down meals and dancing in the main hall while the space is being changed up and any DJ or live music is being set up.

People gathered outdoors at a celebration under a white tent, with trees and a small barn-like building in the background.

Garden & outside Bojangles bar

Outdoor summer house style bar and seating area on the front lawn for sunny days. There’s a canvas tipi for a bit of shade too.

This and the driveway area to the front of the house is where any marquee/stretch tent and other facilities would be set up for larger events.

Elegant dining room with dark walls, large windows with blue curtains, a chandelier and wall sconces, a long table with place settings, glasses, napkins, and a floral centerpiece with candles.

Dining room

If you choose to stay for the weekend, this is where you’ll dine on Friday night. The large table seats up to 20, so there’s room for all staying guests to eat together.

This is also where you can have a spot of brekky before the big day, and soak up the booze with a fry up the morning after the night before.
