I’m Solen, an Edinburgh wedding photographer specialising in documentary wedding photography, intimate weddings and elopements across Scotland, alongside editorial portraiture and creative brand photography.
I work with camera-shy couples, artists, independent businesses and culturally engaged clients who value authenticity, local connection and thoughtful visual storytelling.
My experience across weddings, portraiture and brand collaborations allows each area to inform the other, bringing a relaxed, editorial approach to people-focused photography whether it’s a celebration, a personal portrait or a brand narrative. My mix of areas of photography also allows for me to work with clients multiple times on different projects which I always relish.
Alongside commissioned work, I maintain an active visual art practice from my Leith studio, where analogue photography, cyanotype and mixed media projects continue to shape my creative perspective.
