Wedding Feature: Colstoun Winter Wedding

Huge thank you to Christina at We Fell in Love and our lush couple, Fiona and Will for the recent feature on the WFIL blog of their wedding day in the Colstoun House polytunnel. This was such a belter of a day. It was a mild February Sunday with special significance to the bride’s family as they’d be the third generation to marry on this date. The family had sworn us to secrecy over some surprise fireworks in the evening.

Right from the offset, we knew exactly what we didn’t want in our wedding photos…overly posed or classic cringey shots.

Immediately Solen’s style stood out, the candid, casual nature of the photos was exactly what we were looking for. Of course, the grannies wanted a few of the posed family shots but we wanted to capture the real emotion of the day. Solen did exactly this and we couldn’t be happier with the end result! Every time we look back at our photos they bring a huge smile to our faces.

Supplier love to celebrant Candice Dillen, to Sarah Roberts for second shooting with me and to Adelaide’s Secret Garden for the beautiful florals.

Other suppliers: RB Broadcasting did an amazing job of streaming the ceremony for family and friends. Flowers By Arrangement created the altar piece and Adele’s bouquet and Candice Dillen officiated for Humanist Society of Scotland.
