The Elopement Society’s 'Escape to the City' is designed for wee weddings and elopements in picture perfect Edinburgh.
Using our local knowledge and little black book of local creatives, venues and suppliers, we lean into your love story to curate a beautifully unique day that you will never forget.
What’s covered?
A photographer for up to 4.5 hrs and gallery of edited images (aka, me) and your choice of the following:
A wonderful celebrant will officiate your day
Those all important wedding flowers
A delicious cake
Recommendations for spaces to host your ceremony and any celebrations
Any other suppliers you’d like to include (eg, hair and makeup, musicians)
If you’re looking for simplicity, everything you really need is right here.
The Celebrant
One of our wonderful celebrants will design and officiate your ceremony on the day, as well as ensuring you have all the legalities covered.
The beauty of marrying in Scotland is that, provided you’ve sorted your paperwork, you can have a legally binding marriage conducted by a celebrant pretty much anywhere at any time of day.
The Flowers
Choose from a selection of flower combos. eg:
A bouquet and buttonhole/boutonniere
2 small bouquets
A small bouquet and a flower crown
2 boutonniere/buttonholes and a small table centrepiece
The Cake
Our brilliant bakery chums know the script when it comes to good cake. With a few to choose from you can be sure of a unique and delectable sweet feast to celebrate with. We’ll make sure delivery is sorted to somewhere suitable too.
Your package includes 4.5 hours of photography and includes pre-wedding online consultation and gallery of edits to print and share with your loved ones.

You can get married ANY-WHERE in Scotland. Venues no longer need to be licensed for a wedding — this makes our services a cost effective way of designing a day unique to you.
Of course, we have many favourite spots, venues and hideaways in case you need some ideas! We currently cover Edinburgh and East Lothian, with it’s untapped potential - beautiful beaches, woods, castle ruins, coffee shops, distilleries and historic harbour towns, there are a heap of options to make your celebration there feel utterly unique and off the radar.
Elopement is freedom
We specialise in designing elopements and small scale weddings for up to around 20 guests, that are as unique and thoughtful as all the moments that led you to this special day.
