Brand & Product Photography | Edinburgh

A brand photography commission from celebrated Edinburgh ceramicist, Jay Frazer. This is a new project, Tiera Jewellery.

I’m soooo pleased with the photos, thank you so much, they’re perfect!! Can’t wait to share them.
— Jay Frazer

All of Jay’s work is so beautifully textural, informed by the tones and shapes of the coastline. So it made perfect sense to shoot these at my home studio in Portobello, using flotsam that I combed from the beach.Jay’s brief was to use neutrals and she just left me to play which I loved. All shot with natural light.

At the heart of every creative business is a visual identity, a way of showing who you are, what you make, and how it feels to encounter your work. I specialise in brand photography, editorial commissions and product portraiture that bring your visual story to life with clarity, nuance and emotional depth. Whether it’s textured ceramics, handcrafted jewellery or carefully curated product lines, my approach blends intentional composition with natural, relaxed portraiture and cinematic storytelling rooted in light and atmosphere.

My work isn’t about perfectly staged catalogue shots, here we wanted the feel of the shoreline to reflect the character and inspiration of the pieces. It’s about revealing authentic brand character, the way materials catch the light, the subtle gestures of makers at work, and the feeling of a moment rather than just the object itself, as this characteristics are what makes the work so beautiful to wear. Every brand product session is a collaboration: you bring your vision, your craft and your voice, and I help translate that into imagery that feels both honest and compelling to your audience.

I shoot across Edinburgh and Scotland, working with independent makers, creative businesses and cultural projects who value expressive, thoughtful brand photography and portraiture. Whether the brief calls for editorial stills, lifestyle product photography or promotional portrait sessions, I use a mix of digital and analogue techniques to shape imagery that feels warm, tactile and truly yours.

From concept to finished images, the focus is always on connection and how your visuals engage, who they speak to, and the way they elevate brand presence across websites, social platforms and printed media. If you’re looking for brand photography in Edinburgh that feels natural, intentional and full of personality, let’s talk about shaping visuals that resonate and perform.
