IMAGINED SHORES : SKETCHBOOK

I find mark making to be such a vital part of my creative practise and something that I love to explore different techniques of. A few pages from a series of mixed media collage sketchbooks exploring the idea of imagined shorelines and sea splashes, with cut up poetry.

I love using waste from other projects for my sketchbooks, mostly from print making workshops and collage works. I have several vintage books which always seem to offer up a beautifully appropriate phrase or two for the thoughts I’m playing with.
