Meet The Elopers: Amy + Paul’s Neighbourhood Wedding

Leith lovers Amy and Paul married over a year ago already, my first wee wedding for The Elopement Society, in their tenement backyard with tacos at Bodega on Leith Walk to celebrate.

I have many thanks to share for those who are sticking with me, supporting me, collaborating with The Elopement Society already. You are legends and I hope you know how much it means to me to have folks believe in my ideas and work. So, firstly thank you to Love My Dress for not one but two features at the start of summer that I’ve completely failed to share as they hit at the same time as the busiest wedding season ever. The second to come very soon.

Say hello to Amy and Paul. Thank you to them, to The Elopement Society community in the form of ace team at Bodega, to Kathryn Hanson the lovely celebrant and Rowanjoy. And to their other amazing suppliers Platter and Pop, Katie Lees jewellery and Narcissus flowers.

This wee wedding helped me to figure out some ideas for The Elopement Society, these beautiful little days are a chance for me to collaborate with other local wedding service providers who I love to work with or inspire me with their offerings and ethos. This is something I’m working hard on expanding too. So far the couples I’ve worked with have been so so lovely and the weddings have been an amazing source of pride to witness. Much more about these to come soon.
