I made this light box painting thing after visiting much missed pals at their new (ridiculously beautiful art nouveau monochrome feast of a) home in Hamburg.

I hadn’t seen them since they had their second wee baby and moved away at the start of the first lockdown. We spent the whole first night standing in the kitchen ranting till it was nearly kids getting up time.

Laura and I went on an art adventure while I was there too. We stoated around 3 galleries and only got in trouble from staff at 2 of them.

We saw so much beautiful stuff, went to space and I made this when I got home 🤍🖤 inspired by our art day and their huge Christopher Wool print in the hallway of their house.
