KALEIDOSCOPE

Art

The video element of my installation for the Kaleidoscope exhibition - reflecting a spectrum of artwork and creations.

This piece collages together footage and images, gathered glimmers, moments of sensory joy and light stims. I wanted to play with layers of light and returning symbols to evoke the idea of a kaleidoscope turning, offering new combinations of shape and pattern. From simple playful natural light to stage lighting and reflections through glass and on the surface of the sea, presented in black and white to focus attention to shape and form.

Out of the Blue Drill Hall, 11-18 April

A studio residents’ exhibition, curated by painter Dan Murray.
